Pearl Jam 2024 Tour Reaction: Ep. 20 – Indianapolis

About the Episode

Episode Release Date: August 27th, 2024

After a year of waiting, both patient and impatiently, Pearl Jam finally had their show in Indianapolis. The big news out of tonight was that this show was heavily favored in Vitalogy’s direction playing five songs in total including the first three from the record consecutively. There was no full album show to be had due to the placement of Nothingman, but when it was reported that the band sound checked three songs from that record (including Satan’s Bed which was not on the setlist) there were little what ifs sprinkled in. Instead of a repeat of another midwestern town Moline, we get a very solid setlist with a few talking points to hit on.

Aaron Redmond and Bradley Piasecki check in from the venue formerly known as Deer Creek to give their thoughts on what had went down. We’ll dig deep into the Vitalogy stuff, the Dark Matter songs impact, a passionate speech during Daughter, a fun dedication for Present Tense, a look back into history with Wash as the opener and a wonderful tribute to a great friend of ours who got a never before played song dedicated to her. Check it out, and if you were there, leave your comments on what you thought of the show!
