Pearl Jam Releases Make-Up Dates for Postponed 2020 Tour

We’re back. After two years, Pearl Jam announced the rescheduled 2020 tour dates today, breaking them up into two legs. They’ll be hitting the west coast in May and Canada and the east coast/midwest in September. The tour now kicks off in San Diego on May 3rd, home of many wonderful PJ shows. Think they might open with Long Road? September 11th at Madison Square Garden…does that sound familiar? That will be the 24th anniversary of the legendary Breath show from 1998. With the European dates this summer, it’s shaping up to be an eventful year…oh, did we mention they’ve also started working on a new album?

Not only did they announce the shows from 2020, but they’ve also added some additional dates: Fresno, Sacramento, and Las Vegas in May, extending the west coast leg, and Camden, most likely as the replacement for the Baltimore show. There is no Seattle date, strangely enough, and no Chicago, no Boston, and still no makeup for the 2016 Raleigh show that was canceled. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a long tour cycle, and they’ll add more dates in 2023 and beyond.

Randy and I recorded a quick reaction pod, listen and hear us break all of this down and more here, and check back often, Live On 4 Legs will be covering every aspect of this tour, bringing you as close as we can to every show, with exclusive reactions and more. Content Editor & LO4L Host

I was obsessed with Pearl Jam in the early 90's, and then became a collector of their live bootlegs in the 2000's. I’ve seen them 12 times in 8 different states. I’m continuously blown away by their ability to create transcendent moments in concert. I owe them for my love of vinyl, live music, and so much more. I’m happy to have the podcast and this website as an outlet for that obsession.
