I was 15 when I held my first tickets to see Pearl Jam on 11/28/93 in Boulder, CO, but the show was canceled at the last minute due to security concerns. Then military and medical school got in the way, and I didn’t get to my first shows until 2003. I love everything about their catalog and live shows, but what I appreciate the most about this band is what its members stand for. Using their platform to stand up for the issues that matter and for those who may not always be able to stand up for themselves. We live in a better world because of this wonderful group of thoughtful musicians.
