I was up too late one night flipping channels and stumbled upon Headbangers Ball. Ed and Mike were the guests and the next day I asked my Mom to take me to the mall to buy their CD. Pearl Jam was the first band that was mine and not one I borrowed from my father. I went to my first show in 1996 and have been to 86 so far.
