Exclusive Episode: Ann Arbor, MI Blind Pig – 11/21/1991

Hello Patrons! We have a brand new full episode out today exclusive to this platform. It’s been a while since we’ve covered smaller shows for Patreon and a series full of episodes targeting shows from 1991 was one of our goals for 2021. Here we are! Since we covered Ann Arbor 94 this week, we figured that we stay local and head back to the first time they ever played the college town back on their first massive tour.

At the time the band was touring as the opener for Smashing Pumpkins and Red Hot Chili Peppers, but they used this show as a diversion from the bigger theater shows in order to get more intimate with their crowd. In front of a group of 400 people, the band felt comfortable and right at home playing in a venue that Kurt Cobain claimed to be his favorite he ever played.
